Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This website is operated by Bronze Ledger ("Bronze Ledger," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information you provide when you request a tax relief evaluation. For any privacy question or request, contact us at privacy@bronzeledger.com.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information: identifiers and contact information you submit through our evaluation form (name, email address, phone number, state, ZIP code); financial information about your tax situation (approximate tax debt, tax agency, filing status, type of tax problem); internet and device activity (IP address, device and browser characteristics, pages viewed, quiz progress); and advertising data (the campaign, ad, and platform that referred you, and identifiers stored in cookies).
We collect this information directly from you when you fill out the form; automatically from your browser and device when you visit the website; from advertising platforms and the links you click, which pass campaign and click identifiers; and from service providers that help us operate the site, such as TrustedForm.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, measure our advertising, and run experiments. The following tracking technologies can load when you use this website:
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.): records page views and, when a partner accepts your request, a lead event. It sets cookies (such as _fbp and _fbc) used to measure and optimize Facebook and Instagram advertising and to build custom audiences.
- TikTok Pixel (TikTok Inc.): records page views and, when a partner accepts your request, a form submission event that can include your email address and phone number so TikTok can match the conversion to a TikTok ad.
- OpenAI Ads pixel (OpenAI): records conversion events, such as a completed request, to measure the performance of advertising placed through OpenAI.
- TrustedForm (ActiveProspect, Inc.): generates a certificate containing a replay of your visit to our form, including the information you enter and the consent you give, as proof of your consent. The certificate may be shared with the partners who receive your request.
- First-party visit and click tracking: our own visit tracker sets first-party cookies (vId and dId) that identify your visit and device, and records the pages you view, the referring URL, campaign parameters, and advertising click identifiers (such as gclid, fbclid, ttclid, and msclkid) so that we can attribute a request to the ad campaign that produced it.
- Experiment cookie (abv): keeps you in the same version of a page during A/B testing. It is stored as a cookie for up to 90 days.
- Opt-out cookie (bl_optout): remembers that you opted out of advertising pixels on this browser. It is stored for up to two years.
- Browser storage: the local and session storage in your browser holds campaign attribution and remembers, for the length of your visit, whether you arrived through an advertising click so that we can show relevant offers after you submit the form.
The Meta, TikTok, and OpenAI pixels do not load when your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal or after you opt out on our Do Not Sell or Share page. Some advertising platforms also receive conversion events directly from our servers, for example when a partner accepts your request; those events can include hashed contact details and advertising click identifiers so the platform can match them to an ad. You can limit tracking through your browser settings, and we honor opt-out preference signals as described under "Your right to opt out of sale or sharing" below.
How we use your information
We use your information to match you with a third-party tax resolution provider, to transmit your request to that provider, to operate, measure, and improve our advertising and this website, to maintain records of your consent, and to comply with legal obligations.
Sale and sharing of personal information
We are a lead generation business. When you submit the evaluation form, we sell or share the information you submitted — including your contact information and tax situation details — to one or more of our third-party tax resolution partners, listed on our Partners page, in exchange for compensation, so that they can contact you about their services. We also share internet activity data with advertising platforms (such as Meta, TikTok, and OpenAI) for advertising measurement, which may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under some state laws. We additionally disclose information to service providers that support our website operations and analytics; those disclosures are not sales.
Your right to opt out of sale or sharing
You may opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information at any time by visiting our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page or by emailing privacy@bronzeledger.com. We also treat the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request for the browser you use it with.
Contact and consent
By submitting the form, you authorize us and our partner provider to contact you by phone, autodialed or prerecorded calls, SMS/text messages, and email. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply; reply HELP for help. You may revoke consent at any time by any reasonable means, including by replying STOP to any text message, by informing the provider that contacts you, or by emailing info@bronzeledger.com.
Data retention
We keep each category of information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, after which it is deleted or de-identified:
- Form submissions and consent records (contact details, tax situation, consent text, and consent certificates): for as long as needed to demonstrate compliance with telemarketing and consumer protection laws, including the time limits for bringing claims under those laws, and longer if needed for a pending dispute or legal hold.
- Internet and device activity and advertising data: for as long as needed to attribute and measure advertising and to detect fraud, and longer only when linked to a form submission, in which case it follows the retention period above.
- Cookies and browser storage:for the durations described under "Cookies and tracking technologies" above, or until you clear them.
- Privacy requests and opt-outs: for as long as needed to honor your request and to show that we did, as required by law.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common standard for interpreting it, we do not respond to Do Not Track signals. We do honor the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of sale and sharing, as described above.
Your state privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Montana, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Virginia, among others), you may have the right to know or access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, obtain a portable copy, opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@bronzeledger.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity using the information associated with your submission and respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will explain the outcome of your appeal.
United States only
This website is intended for residents of the United States. Your information is processed and stored in the United States.
Children
This website is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
